The Beach
To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and respectful stay for everyone, please follow these rules and considerations:
No Lifeguard
Swim at your own risk. Always supervise children closely near the water.
Undertow
Be aware of strong undertows. If caught in one, swim parallel to the shore until you escape the current, then swim back to land.
Jellyfish
Avoid contact with jellyfish. If stung, rinse with seawater (not freshwater), remove tentacles with a tool (not bare hands), and seek medical attention if severe.
Catfish
Watch for catfish in shallow waters, as their spines can cause painful stings. Shuffle your feet when wading to avoid stepping on them.
Beach Cleanup
Remove all chairs, towels, toys, and personal items from the beach every night to keep it clean and safe for wildlife.
Turtle Nests
Sea turtle nests are marked and protected. Do not disturb them, dig holes, or build sandcastles near nests, as this can harm eggs or disorient hatchlings. Refrain from using bright lights (e.g., flashlights, phone lights) on the beach at night, as they can disorient sea turtles and hatchlings.
Sand Tracking
Use the provided foot washes and outdoor showers before entering the house or pool area to keep interiors sand-free.
General Safety
Ensure the safety of all guests by keeping walkways clear, securing umbrellas and outdoor furniture, and reporting any hazards to the host immediately.
No Fires
Open fires are strictly prohibited on the beach to protect the environment and ensure safety.
Quiet Hours
Observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests and neighbors.
