About The Florida Havens

For years, Craig and Doreen Wambolt escaped the snowy New England winters by bringing their three children to Florida’s Space Coast — a place where the sand meets the surf and family memories come easily. They fell in love with Melbourne Beach, where they could spend mornings on the water and still be just a short drive from Orlando’s world-famous parks and attractions.

In 2020, the Wambolts made Melbourne their permanent home and set out to share the very experience that had brought their family so much joy. From that vision, The Florida Havens was born — a collection of private, oceanfront homes designed for families to reconnect, relax, and create lifelong memories.

The Havens at Beach Street welcomed its first guests in 2023, offering two luxury homes just steps from the shore. Two years later, The Havens at The Dunes opened in the spring of 2025, expanding the experience with another pair of beautifully appointed seaside retreats.

Today, The Florida Havens continues the Wambolts’ family tradition — where beachside serenity meets the excitement of nearby Orlando, and every stay feels like coming home to the coast.
