Our refund policy provides clear and fair guidelines for cancellations and refunds to support your family getaway planning. This policy complements our Terms and Conditions and House Rules.

1. Cancellation by Guests
The Florida Havens offers a tiered cancellation policy to accommodate your needs:

Cancellations 90+ Days Before Check-In: If you cancel at least 90 days before your scheduled check-in date (by 4:00 PM local time), you will receive a full refund, less a 5% processing fee to cover administrative costs.

Cancellations 30–89 Days Before Check-In: Cancellations made between 30 and 89 days before check-in receive a 50% refund of the accommodation fees (excluding taxes, which are fully refunded).

Cancellations Less Than 30 Days Before Check-In: Cancellations within 30 days of check-in are non-refundable, except for taxes, which will be refunded. At our discretion, we may offer a credit for a future stay, valid for 12 months, subject to availability.

No-Show: Failure to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior cancellation results in full charges for the booked period, with no refund or credit issued.

2. Modifications to Reservations

Date Changes: Modifying reservation dates is treated as a cancellation and rebooking, subject to the above cancellation terms and current availability. New rates may apply, and changes must be requested through our website.

Special Requests: Adjustments to guest counts, property selection (e.g., switching from Turtle Haven to Beach Haven), or special requests (e.g., early check-in) are subject to availability and may incur additional fees. Please include requests in your booking notes or contact us.

3. Cancellations by The Florida Havens

Unforeseen Circumstances: In the rare event we must cancel your reservation due to property issues (e.g., maintenance or safety concerns), we will provide a full refund or offer to rebook you at a comparable property, subject to availability.

Force Majeure: If cancellations occur due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, hurricanes, or government restrictions, we will issue a full refund or a credit for a future stay, assessed case-by-case.

4. Refunds for Early Departure

Voluntary Early Departure: If you choose to leave before the end of your booked stay, no refund or credit will be issued for the unused portion.

Termination Due to Policy Violations: If your stay is terminated due to non-compliance with our House Rules (e.g., unauthorized parties or pets), no refund will be provided, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances, such as medical emergencies or travel disruptions, not covered by our refund policy. This ensures added peace of mind for your luxurious getaway.
